Not being as much a McKay person myself, I'm always trying to keep a weather eye on that sizeable majority of the fandom to make sure they find my use and/or non-use of him balanced and reasonable, so thanks for identifying yourself so that I can keep tabs on you *g* I'm glad you appreciated the sort of underlying issues that fueled whatever kink there was in the story -- because, hey, not that you need an excuse for kink! but in my head it's not a kinkfic at all, and it's cool to see other people embracing the story in that same way.
