Thanks! One of the frustrating things about revising is how much you have to throw out that you liked in terms of writing, but doesn't fit the story anymore. A lot of other things that I'm excising, I feel like I can cannibalize back into the book in other places, but I didn't see this bit going anywhere at all, sadly.
