For those of you who might be wondering what the hell happened to me and/or to the three stories I'm late on for the choc_fic challenge...you know, long story short, yes, I'm alive, yes, I've had a rotten month, yes, I'm still writing. It's been hard -- I don't know if it's just my general stress levels, or underlying conflicting feelings about fandom, or just a particularly low part of that weird cycle I go through sometimes, but it seems like everything I do lately takes like ten billion times more effort than it really ought to take -- just buying groceries is this massive, epic project right now, if that helps explain why I'm writing at the speed of plate tectonics.

I don't know. The good news is I do have something to bribe myself with -- when I finish these stories, I won't feel too guilty to even go look at the choc_fic community, so there will be many wonderful stories waiting there for me to read if I can just get to that point. That makes me happy.

That is definitely the best kind of bribe because , oh my, there are MANY wonderful stories. I have a rec post on the go.
