Gakked from Res's mind-numbingly brilliant secret stash -- real, live Author's Notes that I would probably use myself, if I were the kind of person who told the truth in Author's Notes.

I'm not really familiar with male x male sex yet though I love to read it. There might be some similarities to other fics, coz, I think it's because I read so many of them so I can write this scene.

Oh my god... cliche, cliche, cliche. Holy shit, this is so cliche. Seriously. [...] It was, like, really fun to write, and everything. And it's nice to be inside [character]'s head for a little while. But, still... did I mention it was one big fat harry hairy cliche? And saccharine. Totally saccharine.

Also, the relationship that develops between them may not be perfect or even seem particularly right, but that's because both of the characters have serious issues. This is all a long winded way of me excusing the things that I had to do to get them into bed with each other.

Hopefully it's not getting too repetitive. Grr. Argh. It's getting harder and harder to write these things without being all cliche.
