hat said, I give Hoechlin full marks for his reaction shot when the chainsaw comes out; he really looks like his one regret in life was that he didn't just hold Peter down and rabbit-punch him until he threw up at least once. Derek is clearly a dude who has chosen to hold Peter entirely accountable for everything from the Fall of Man to the heat death of the universe, just to have all his bases covered.

I love Kira, too! She is adorable.
Unfortunately I think the actual answer to Allison's nightmare blahs is that TPTB are enamored of the actress who plays Kate and wants an excuse to bring her back.
Lydia is super smart, and should have been able to come up with, at least, "Take a picture of the trap with your phone, and hand it to me." :-/
