Hope That Holds.

Yeah, I think we're all a little scared that we'll sound petty if we just say "The Establishment isn't going to go to work for this guy even if he wins." But honestly, it's pretty basic! Politics really is about relationships, and when you have a politician that's so resistant to building and maintaining those relationships, it's fair to have a lack of trust and a lack of wanting to put your ass on the line for him, feeling like they're going to have their motives insulted and then be hung out to dry at the midterms in exchange. It may be a *little* petty, but I think it's pretty damn human.
