The Jeannie and Col. Carter things, along with the tape, were also very moving.

Date: 2006-05-30 07:26 am (UTC)From:I loved Ronon and Rodney's relationship, it felt really real, really true, and everyone else was wonderful too - poor confused John! Cadman! Even the little snippets of Sam and Jeannie, which managed to pack so much meaning and emotion into only a few paragraphs. I also really loved the little worldbuilding details you threw in, like the fact that on Sateda legal documents are signed with the non-dominant hand - little details like that add so much.
Um, yeah. Pretty much any kind of Rodney/Ronon fic makes the world a better place, but this fic was just - yeah. Thank-you.

Date: 2006-06-05 03:39 am (UTC)From:And I don't care, because you keep writing these beautiful, powerful stories. I love your characterizations of everyone, and the dynamic between Rodney and Ronon. I loved the wedding ceremony: swearing what you will not do, and that your spouse is the one you trust to take care of you when you're hurt and vulnerable. The Scorpion Project was brilliant, and I think you could write a whole gen story based on that idea alone.
I was saving this story to read, because I knew last week would suck, and I wanted something to look forward to. It was totally worth it. Also, I'm glad I waited because I never would have posted my flashfic after I read this--it would have seemed entirely unnecessary.

From the first person to become as one flesh with Rodney McKay, to the second – I hope it takes you longer than two days to start contemplating suicide.

Date: 2006-12-18 11:28 pm (UTC)From: (Anonymous)This was brilliant, great, amazing and a bunch of other words that I'm sure you're more familiar with than me by now, since I'm guessing this isn't the first comment you've gotten concering this story.
I liked everything, but more than everything, I liked *everyone*. In some alternate universe this could so be an episode.
Rodney's trust issues, John's not-quite-but-*almost*-thing-for-Ronon(sure it's just team-stuff *sure*) Ronon was just perfect and even though I kinda missed Teyla a bit in this, the bits of her that I got were great. Everyone = leik teh lurve!
Love, love love!
Thanks!

Date: 2007-10-14 08:52 pm (UTC)From:Its so nice to read a Rodney/Ronan fic that isn't just a dressed up PWP, but instead actually has heart and an actually storyline.
Any plans to write a follow up? *begs and offers cookies*

Date: 2007-11-05 06:10 pm (UTC)From:I thought it was very well written. It's a good story, a good idea, and very well played out. I liked your characterisations. I loved reading Ronon and Rodney, especially when they were together. They really did fit. Which is the one thing that's been puzzling me about this 'ship and why I like it so much. But I think that may be half of why they are so good together, 'cause they don't really fit. Anyway, yes, reading was fun, characterisations were good.
I felt really sad for Rodney every time he was self-deprecating. Then his and Ronon's little talk in the jumper after they came back made me feel better. Their entire time together in the beginning half of the fic was brilliant and squee worthy and hot and sweet and just excellent. Oddly enough, I think my favourite bit with them is when they're eating on Vacuna. So adorable. Actually, scratch that. My favourite bit with them is all the bits with them.
All I can say for Ronon is that he really did rock my socks. I love the way he treated Rodney, and I really can't pinpoint it, but he was just awesome. I loved him so much in this, it goes far beyond words. He was just so... guh! When they make a word for how fan-fecking-tastic he was in this, I'll tell you.
Rodney was hi-larious. ["You have a superhero name?"] *gigglesnort* He was quite brash in the beginning, but I thought, as the fic progressed, that he became less abrasive than he usually is. Which I quite liked. Being married to Ronon suits him ^^ He was quite the provider of the angst, and I like angst, so it was good. Because he had Ronon to comfort him. I love this pairing =]
Sheppard in the beginning was quite funny, but after the whole 'legally married' bit, he really started to piss me off. I hated him a bit for his little speech to the Marines, but in the end, I did understand why he was being the way he was being. I'm glad he got straightened out though.
And I'm glad I spent the majority of my afternoon reading this =D T'was well worth it and has made my day ^^ I've read a lot of your fic today (and yesterday) as I am quite enjoying my Rodney/Ronon fase, and I just wanted to say, I think your fic is very good, and I am now officially a fan ^^ Much love and good luck with future writings. I can't wait to read them. Anyway, you rock.
