Date: 2007-11-05 06:10 pm (UTC)From:I thought it was very well written. It's a good story, a good idea, and very well played out. I liked your characterisations. I loved reading Ronon and Rodney, especially when they were together. They really did fit. Which is the one thing that's been puzzling me about this 'ship and why I like it so much. But I think that may be half of why they are so good together, 'cause they don't really fit. Anyway, yes, reading was fun, characterisations were good.
I felt really sad for Rodney every time he was self-deprecating. Then his and Ronon's little talk in the jumper after they came back made me feel better. Their entire time together in the beginning half of the fic was brilliant and squee worthy and hot and sweet and just excellent. Oddly enough, I think my favourite bit with them is when they're eating on Vacuna. So adorable. Actually, scratch that. My favourite bit with them is all the bits with them.
All I can say for Ronon is that he really did rock my socks. I love the way he treated Rodney, and I really can't pinpoint it, but he was just awesome. I loved him so much in this, it goes far beyond words. He was just so... guh! When they make a word for how fan-fecking-tastic he was in this, I'll tell you.
Rodney was hi-larious. ["You have a superhero name?"] *gigglesnort* He was quite brash in the beginning, but I thought, as the fic progressed, that he became less abrasive than he usually is. Which I quite liked. Being married to Ronon suits him ^^ He was quite the provider of the angst, and I like angst, so it was good. Because he had Ronon to comfort him. I love this pairing =]
Sheppard in the beginning was quite funny, but after the whole 'legally married' bit, he really started to piss me off. I hated him a bit for his little speech to the Marines, but in the end, I did understand why he was being the way he was being. I'm glad he got straightened out though.
And I'm glad I spent the majority of my afternoon reading this =D T'was well worth it and has made my day ^^ I've read a lot of your fic today (and yesterday) as I am quite enjoying my Rodney/Ronon fase, and I just wanted to say, I think your fic is very good, and I am now officially a fan ^^ Much love and good luck with future writings. I can't wait to read them. Anyway, you rock.
