So I've been watching these Homicide DVDs, and I have this to say about that:

It's SICK how much I love Tim Bayliss. Seriously. It's like an illness. I feel like I should be in quarantine for the good of the population at large.

Oh, Timmy. My giant, lanky, dorky, neurotic, co-dependent, repressed, rage-prone Boy Scout. You make me SUPER HAPPY, sweetheart.

It's a great show, one I'd watched for Bayliss through every season. Talk about an evolution of character, man, he went through some heavy stuff.

My problem now, though, is having seen the movie that finished off the series, I have trouble watching it. I've always been like that, seeing what happens in canon can totally fuck up my ability to ever enjoy something again.

Still, I wouldn't have missed watching it the first time for anything.

The weird thing is, I've actually seen the tv movie, although obviously it meant a lot less to me at the time than I expect it to when I watch it now. I expect it to kind of feel like an ice pick through my eyeball now, but fortunately, that's sort of what I look for in a tv show. *g*

The whole ice pick thing is what I feel when it's a bad show, not a good one. *g* Man, I'm practically blind these days with all the junk on TV. I wish there were more shows like H:LOTS, shows that are edgy and full of great characters.
