excerpt from a recent interview posted at Gateworld:

Momoa went on to reveal how he would like Dex to exit the show -- and in his mind he may take his co-star with him. "A blaze of glory, man," he said. "... me and Joe [Flanigan, Colonel John Sheppard], going out. The unspoken word, looking at each other.

"We've had it happen this year [in "Search and Rescue."], we do one where we look at each other and he's like, 'We're going to die. It's an honour,' and I'm like, 'Same.' It's unspoken and you're going out with your buddy, firing."

That's all I have to say about that. Welcome to the ship, Jason! Here's your secret decoder ring.

I can't remember if you read Mallozzi's blog or not, but yesterday he posted that Jason asked him to ask his readers what their favorite Ronon line was. I have no idea why Jason wants to know this, but I was very amused by it. There have been some excellent responses in the comments.

See, I think that would be really hard, since a lot of the moments I love from him are much more about the *way* he says things than about the dialogue. Some of those early s2 encounters with Weir were *fantastic,* and there's often nothing more to quote than "That okay?"

That's what makes Jason so very awesome.

I can SO see this ship. LOL!

It's almost getting ridiculous! The subtext has reached such force that I feel like I'm being whanged in the head with a hammer at this point. *g*

Yes, but it's a hammer that I like where as they banged away with the McKay hammer and allowed the actor to become more and more obnoxious. Frankly, I never saw much UST between McKay and Sheppard; mostly UST on McKay's part (probably unconscious) and friendship/strained patience on Sheppard's part. But Sheppard and Ronon - laconic warriors and equally beautiful. Other people can have the uber-screaming-bitchy McKay. Bring on the "other" ship. We few, we proud, we ..other shippers shipping.

*raises fist*

Yeah! What she said!

Well, I do like McKay as a character, although there are times when I think he's been overused. Still, they never did a better episode than "Grace Under Pressure," in my opinion, and I give them a certain amount of credit for really giving him an inner life and conflicts of his own to work out. My love of That Other Shippy, Shippy Ship isn't really related to my feelings about McKay, which I'm only saying because I'm a little overcautious about that. I've noticed in this fandom that there's a tendency to think that people whose main focus isn't McKay must hate him and be avoiding him on purpose, which isn't necessarily the case! Not everything that happens in SGA is a referendum on Rodney McKay, in spite of what he might tell you. *g*

Just when I thought I couldn't like Jason any more... ^_^

There is no limit! The depths of his awesomeness will never be...dove to? I can't remember where that phrase was supposed to go. But, look - Jason! Now I've distracted you.

It's just good customer service for them. They really, really want me to keep watching their show, and, well, I am. *g*

HEE! That is completely beyond awesome.

C'mon, that's kind of like saying you knew about Lex and Clark all along...

Hey, some of us like 'em easy! *g*

Most appropriate icon ever, too!

I'm sad that Joe and Jason won't be together for another five years, but I feel like they criminally underused both actors, so my feelings, as they say, are mixed.

If Jarad or Jensen *moved* in with each other, and then gave interviews about going out in a blaze of glory together, there'd be tinhats exploding (of joy) everywhere.

Here in SGA, we're, like... "that's nice." Geez we're spoiled.

It does seem that way, doesn't it? Of course, at the same time, we're spared some of the crazier excesses of tinhattiness, which is nice, honestly.

Totally unrelated to post, sorry

Hiya!

You're probably aware of this, but just in case: I think your website is down.
d'oh! It's not really my site -- I'm just a guest there -- so I'm just going to hope it shows up again in the next few days. *g*

I'll hope so as well! I was in the middle of "ScrapBooking" my bookmarks (I figure broken links are going to proliferate once the cancellation takes effect) and since I have practically all of your stories bookmarked (because they're, you know, awesome), I kept hitting the "Address not found" page and going, "bwuh?!"
