hth: (on your knees)
Or it should be, shouldn't it? January is all about looking forward to the part of your life you haven't screwed up yet, all shiny and inviting.

Therefore, while I battle it out with the life-eating AU I'm working on, I feel inspired to try something new to keep the wheels turning.

IN THE YEEEEEEEEAAAAR TWO THOUUUUUSAND...

Give me one of my own stories, and a time-stamp in the future -- five minutes after the close of the story, or twenty-four hours, or one year, or thirty years -- and I will give you at least 1000 words of What Happened Next. I am guaranteeing this offer for the first three takers -- after that, I'll see how I'm feeling *g*

Anybody want to play? Come on! It's *January!*

How about "As He's In It", one week later?

Hm. How about "Seven Years," seven years after the close of the story?

erk. I meant "Fourteen Years," of course. ^_^

"Break of Day" -- two years later. If you feel like it. :)

What a cool idea. Think I'll make the offer myself and be heartbroken when nobody cares.

Not to be repetative, but I vote for Alpha Centauri, ten years from the end of the series. I'm not picky of genre. Just please, don't break my heart.

Um, second choice is totally Fourteen Years, and seven more, or fourteen more years.

whee! fun! "vegas" twenty minutes later...and however long afterwards for when john, rodney, teyla, and mitchell see each other all together.

I pondered this for a long time before deciding that, no, I've really never written anything that fits that description. *g* Sorry, it wasn't me! I'd read it though, if you ever find out who did write it; I love taking-Teyla-and-Ronon-to-Earth stories liek whoa.

sorry. literally, i posted it...and thought about it...and then went...."fuck, hth didn't write that! i'm such and asshat!" i came back here hoping that i would be able to delete it before you would see how dumb i really am. grah! too slow. i'll put out "the miracle worker," b/c that's actually my favorite of yours...--_--;;; *facepalm* sorry.

ah, the vegas story is by LTLJ, it's part of the "Retrograde" series. I don't know if you've read that, but Vegas is the last in the series, and my favorite fic by her by far... http://www.ltljverse.com/watergate/seriesindex.htm

and if you really like Teyla and Ronon on Earth fics...have you read Minervacat's newest?

Oh my god! How can you only do the first three! If I was eligable for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation, I would totally ask for Alpha Centauri, lets see, six years down the line from "Vanilla." OR I second that call for Rodney and Ronon from "Hands of Yes" on their first anniversary. I'd be hard pressed to name a favourite story of yours, but if it came down to that, it'd be a tie between these two. DON'T MAKE ME BEG!

Seahorse, halfway between the girls' hatching and the epilogue? Or five years after the epilogue, whichever.

And, um, if you've left that fandom far, far behind you, Thirteen O'Clock, one week later?

I know you have several requests already, so I expect this is wishful thinking, but I'd really love to see what happens 10 years after "The Bee-Charmer".

A couple of people have already mentioned "In the Hands of Yes", so...hmm. How about "The Miracle Worker" a couple months on in a world where "Breathe You Deep" didn't happen.

Erm. Or, maybe something with Rodney 5 or 10 years after "Breathe You Deep". Because I need to start crying again. (seriously, I did)
